Who I am, what I do and where I operate
Welcome! For those of you who do not know me, my name is Hugo Slimbrouck and I’m a destination marketeer from Belgium, specialised in live communication and motivation through live, hybrid or virtual events such as meetings, conferences and incentive programmes.
Since 1995 I have run my own consulting company Hospitality Services and have operated as an independent consultant since. Throughout my career I worked for a number of top branded hotel groups, created and managed the convention bureau of my hometown, was a partner in an events agency & PCO and most recently I co-developed a global DMC brand where my task was to develop and manage our global network of strategic partners. Through the course of my career I became the president of two global industry associations in the meetings industry: SITE & JMIC.
